    "Best time of my life"
I went to their summer camp and it was the best time of my life, we had riding lessons, we learned how to put on tack, we learned how to groom horses and much more! The staff is so friendly, the environment is amazing and the horses are all gorgeous. The ranch is all about safety, they do everything they can to make it 100% safe. There is also a day when the campers get to sleep over, you will also have a trail ride on that day. It's gorgeous, there's rivers, and so much wildlife! You might even walk by the Alouette River. They have fun activities throughout the week! You won't be disappointed at all, the camp is a great program! I would definitely recommend it!

    "Adapted to everyone's skill level"
Leghorn Ranch offers several varieties in working with horses. Ranging from summer camps to trail rides; Leghorn Ranch provides a horse for everyone! I would know. Coming to Leghorn Ranch for the summer camp, with little experience of horses, I was extremely nervous. But, Hanif and Janet’s calm demeanor relaxed me right away. After we finished introduction with the other kids, we were taught how to care for a horse. One of the volunteers brought out a beautiful, agile horse; Spirit. We groomed his fur and picked his hooves. Leghorn Ranch’s responsible volunteers made sure none of us were kicked or bitten. Even though we hadn’t ridden, it was obvious everyone at Leghorn loved and appreciated all the horses. While riding, Janet made sure we were all safe. She ensured our horsemanship and trust in our agile friends. No one was left behind. The riding course was adjusted so that it adapted to everyone’s skill levels. Not once was I scared ad enjoyed every bit of the camp. Before I realized, the camp had ended. After making a life long friendship with the amazing horse Duke, I couldn’t stay away. Every chance I had, I returned to Leghorn Ranch to ride and volunteer. Even though I live 45 min away, no drive is too far for Leghorn Ranch! Janet, Hanif, Duke, and all of the volunteers will ensure that I come back next year!
